For us to survive, nature must thrive.
We need to accelerate the pace of nature conservation and protect 30% of U.S. lands and ocean by 2030.
Nature is special and deserves to be protected. By now, many of us may be feeling overwhelmed by what the science says about the future of our planet’s climate, suggesting that we have somewhere between 10-12 years to completely change how we interact with our habitat, or we will face the severe consequences of a man-made global catastrophe.
Recognizing that we must take bold action to right the ship, the Healthy Ocean Coalition, along with advocates around the world, scientists, global leaders, and environmental organizations are sending out a rallying cry of support for the 30x30 campaign. This campaign’s goal is to protect 30 percent of the world’s oceans and landmass by the year 2030. If this is achieved, we can avoid a biodiversity crisis and keep our planet and communities healthy.
Stand up for nature by signing our petition calling on Congress to support this new national conservation strategy to strongly protect at least 30% of lands and 30% of ocean areas by 2030.

We acknowledge only 12% of the United States’ land area and 26% of U.S. ocean waters have been conserved as protected areas.
We support the Biden Administration's first national goal to conserve 30 percent of lands, waters, and ocean by 2030 to protect nature and ourselves.
We support the House and Senate's past resolutions supporting 30x30 to protect 30% of lands, waters, and ocean by 203 while improving access to nature for ALL people, including communities of color & economically disadvantaged communities.
We call on Congress to take immediate action to both mandate this conservation goal in legislation as part of the effort to combat the climate and biodiversity crises.
We call on Congress to ensure all efforts fully address environmental justice and the necessity for a much more equitable distribution of nature’s benefits to ALL people, including communities of color and overburdened communities.
